Brucellosis is a common Zoonosis affecting half million people annually. The most mode of infection by consuming unpasteurized milk or products. general manifestations are those fever with generalized symptoms. nervous system affected in 4–7% cases. protean and include meningo-encephalitis as well peripheral involvement. diagnosis relies on culture, which cumbersome can be falsely negative. Agglutination tests for the various species organism mainstay diagnosis. Treatment 3–6 months combination therapy including Doxycycline, Rifampicin ceftriaxone. main issue prevention better animal husbandry.
